The Human Experience

The Human Experience
Playyya Coral, another beautiful sunset.

Okay, what do I need to be doing right now? I need to get better at managing my time. I am not productive enough. I need to find my passions. I need to have my life figured out. No. It is so easy to tell yourself what you need to improve, or that you are not sufficient in this or that category. It is so easy to stress about where life will take you, and what the outcomes of situations will be. To put it simply, this does not feel good. It is not a good feeling to feel like you have to worry about your future. This is stress that we put on ourselves, that we have the ability to alleviate for ourselves. You as an individual, can change your mindset, and perceive life in the way which fits best for you.

Understand, that we are humans, who interpret all of the information we take in through our senses, and make decisions based off of our perceptions. Recognizing this, gives you the ability to look into your perceptions, and see if they are where you want them to be. Then once again, what do I need to be doing right now? Nothing. There is nothing that I technically needto do. Instead, where do I want to invest my time? What would I like to accomplish? I need to get better at managing my time. Well, maybe instead, I can recognize that if there are things I want to get done, I can make sure to prioritize those things, but they do not have to get done. If you want something to get done, that’s great. But does it have to get done? No. Figuring out life is a process, which can be achieved day by day, deciding what you make of the world, and how you want to spend your time. Do I know where I want to be in twenty years? No clue. Are there certain things I want to work toward by that time? Absolutely. Let that be enough. Seeking what you want in life, is a lifelong journey, and is just something that you can work toward, but without having to put pressure on yourself throughout this journey.

As my time passes, and I am getting older, I see how quickly life moves, and I want to make sure that I really appreciate each day that I have on Earth, because my experience will be over before I know it, and I don’t want to live a life that is unfulfilling. I want to go after what I am curious about, and experience happiness, and touch other people’s lives, and live life in a way that I feel good about. So, I encourage you to ask yourself, what do I enjoy? What do I want? How can I create opportunities for myself? As always, thank you all for reading, and I hope that you find value somewhere in my words. :)
